& SPECIALTIES
Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is relaxing, relieving, and sedating for a calmer treatment, though it can be performed with more vigor when appropriate.
Swedish (or Deep Tissue Massage) are designed to revitalize muscles by flushing out metabolic wastes like lactic acid. It works muscles, tendons and ligaments to keep them supple; it increases circulation without straining the heart; it stimulates the skin and nerves; and it reduces physical, emotional and mental stress.
Thai Massage
Thai Massage has all the benefits of Swedish but dialed up to eleven for a more energetic experience.
Thai Massage is a mixture of heavy pressure and fascial stretching which gets deeper into muscles while mobilizing joints and other tissues. Body weight is used, rather than strength, to apply techniques
in a gentle but invigorating rhythm for a massage that hits the best spots without putting you to sleep.

Liam is trained in multiple massage specialities, all of which can be applied to either Swedish or Thai Style Massage. Simply request the modality when booking your appointment.

YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
On your first visit you will complete a confidential health history form. This information is important for proper treatment, and it is required of all clients. You will then discuss your health information with the therapist, including your personal goals for the treatment/training. At the start of a new treatment plan or fitness regime, some mild soreness during the work is normal and often expected, though usually short-lived. During your appointment, the therapist will observe your reactions and will check in frequently to ensure your comfort from start to finish.
ABOUT
Liam believes that the key to good health is a holistic approach. Every facet of one’s life can affect the others. As a graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, Liam studied more than simple physiology and massage techniques - specializing in scar tissue development, natal growth, and the nervous system. Liam takes an integrative medical approach to massage, combining Swedish and myo-fascial techniques with stretching, movement, and exercises gleaned from his years as a stage performer to create treatment plans based on the specific needs of each client.
Liam provides education and encouragement, rooted in understanding.
